According to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000, no parallel marketer will commence business without obtaining a grading. These regulations were later extended to include auto LPG parallel marketers who need to obtain a minimum ‘low-risk’ grading certificate.
The grading certifies your capability, infrastructure, and business-readiness, including provision for adequate safety back-up for transportation, accident relief during transportation, and attending to emergency complaints of customers. CRISIL rates your business after evaluating the infrastructure network, readiness, and ability to deliver the goods and services in a thorough grading process.
