Objective
Help a global bank eliminate backlog and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of fund surveillance by automating its manual process for sourcing funds data from thousands of websites and PDFs.

- Deployed proprietary automated solution for NAV-based surveillance and draft credit ratings calculation. Highlights included:
- Rules- and ML-based extraction of NAVs and ratings drivers from websites, factsheets, and prospectus;
- Data quality and validation checks performed using defined rules designed by our credit risk experts and coded by the analytics team;
- Ratings driver data mapped to the bank’s scorecard to generate preliminary ratings to be approved by the bank’s credit officer;
- Relevant data distributed and stored in client systems (API for public data and client network for private data).
