Objective

Defined a top US Bank’s target enterprise data architecture and guidance on desired capabilities (e.g., real-time streaming, virtualization) including streamlining the data ecosystem and planning for a next generation data platform and cloud enablement.

Challenges
 

• Current infrastructure unable to handle increasing volumes, variety, and velocity of data.
  
• Infrastructure did not enable analytics solutions e.g. real-time transaction monitoring.
  

Approach
 

• Designed platform, architecture and data requirements to operationalize Snowflake, integrating an AWS data lake.
  
• Setup and configured Snowflake environment and services to integrate with AWS data lake.
  
• Implemented continuous integration / continuous deployment based DevOps with iterative execution and deployment to achieve high speed, reliable and efficient delivery of the Snowflake platform.
