Trainer Profile


Trainer is a senior banker with more than 3 decades of experience in the public sector, private, foreign bank & NBFC. During his 10 years’ experience with IDBI he set up the Retail Banking Division in South India. Prior to leaving the bank in 2006, he was the Country Head of Retail Liabilities & Preferred Banking. He also set up the first metro branch of the bank at Chennai, headed the New Products Division & the Internet Banking Division. With Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in Corporate Banking, he was responsible for marketing, appraising and managing of corpo-rate relationships across South India. He was also the NBFC Portfolio Manager for a period of 2 years during his stint with SCB’s Trade Centralization (BPR).
