  • Structure of a securitization transaction
  • MRR and MHP requirements
  • Parties involved in the transaction, their roles, and responsibilities
  • Premium and Par structures

Session 4

 

Transfer of standard loan pools (earlier known as Direct Assignment)

 

 

  • How it is different from securitization
  • MRR and MHP requirements
  • What is allowed and what is not
  • IRAC norms for DA transactions

Evaluation of loan pools for securitization / assignment / novation

 

  • Originator evaluation parameters
  • Servicer evaluation parameters
  • Pool evaluation parameters

Regulations relating to sale of stressed assets

 

  • Identification of pools

  • Structuring the sale
  • Swiss Challenge Method of auction

Credit Risk Analysis and Management-Tools and Methods-II

 

  • Credit Risk Limits- Setting the limits for risk control
  • Stress Testing – forward tool to manage credit risk

Trainer Profile

 

He is a senior ex-banker with more than 25-year experience in banking industry working with Public & private sector banks. He started his career with State Bank of India & has worked extensively in Credit Assessment for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). He was also posted for more than 2 years at SBI’s prestigious Tokyo Branch in Japan where he was responsible for Trade Finance and Treasury Back-Office for both money market and forex dealing room.
