Pause For a Cause
Crisil RE participates in and conducts initiatives to support rehabilitation and disaster management, provide relief to victims of natural calamities such as earthquake, cyclone, drought and floods in India. We also encourage employees to patronise product stalls set up by NGOs in office premises, and make donations in kind.
Joy of Giving
At the start of the festive season each year, Crisil invites its employees to celebrate the Joy of Giving. Employees across Crisil offices patronise product stalls set up as pop-ups, and make donations in cash or kind to various causes.
Emergency Response
Flood-relief
In October 2016, Crisil Foundation distributed flood relief kits to 700 households amounting to a donation of Rs.15 lakhs in Madanbari and Hatimuriya Villages in Morigaon district, after the floods in Assam. In December 2016, Crisil - through employee contributions and a corporate grant - raised INR 52 lakhs towards relief efforts for the floods in Chennai. Crisil partnered with Hope Foundation to provide 340 emergency survival kits to families. Crisil also partnered with Milaap to extend infrastructural support to Little Flower Convent.
Earthquake relief
In May 2015, employees voluntarily contributed one-day salary, with Crisil matching the contribution to donate INR 24 lakhs to CARE India towards rehabilitation efforts for the earthquake in Nepal and northern India. With support from Crisil, CARE India supported 206 households with non-food items and hygiene kits benefitting 1030 people. Employees also donated essential commodities in kind.
