I have been a part of a few of Crisil Foundation’s myriad initiatives over the years like disaster relief efforts, wall painting activity, planting of trees, cleaning up beaches, being a panelist for Change the Scene projects, etc and am extremely happy with the entire experience and am really humbled by the opportunity to contribute to such activities. I would like to applaud the entire team of Crisil Foundation for keeping Crisil’s flag flying high in the CSR arena as well as giving opportunities to Crisilites to contribute personally to make the world a better place to live in. 

It has been fulfilling to contribute towards the meaningful initiatives organized by Crisil Foundation. Mentoring and training their Mein Pragati field workers in important skills has been a valuable experience. I have also enjoyed participating in beach cleaning drives and environmental initiatives like tree plantation drives in Mumbai. Crisil Foundation has always been welcoming, collaborative, and enthusiastic about supporting important causes. As a Crisil employee, I value being able to contribute to social, environmental, and economic empowerment causes. I thank Crisil Foundation for driving these initiatives and creating diverse opportunities for us to make a positive impact.

Crisil Foundation through its volunteering agenda has provided ample opportunities to make a meaningful impact on society and the environment. With pride, I wore the Crisil Re cap and t-shirt, while participating in planting saplings at the Rabale Plantation Site using the Miyawaki method. We returned every few months for post-plantation activities, ensuring the saplings were healthy and thriving. Through this technique, the planted saplings supported each other's growth and prevented the growth of weeds. Witnessing the saplings turn into trees in just a few years was a rewarding experience. This experience has shown me the importance of teamwork and trust in achieving successful outcomes, both in corporate settings and in society.

Working towards social causes has always been a passion of mine, providing me with a sense of fulfillment and purpose since my college days. Upon joining CRISIL, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to volunteer with the CRISIL Foundation, which has made a significant impact in uplifting society and conserving the environment.

As the CRISIL Foundation approaches its tenth year of dedication, I reflect on my own experiences working on projects such as "Awareness of Antenatal Care Amongst Rural Areas," where I directly interacted with numerous expectant and lactating mothers. This project completely altered my perspective on the importance of sharing knowledge, and it remains the greatest accomplishment of my life. I continue to make it a point to share my knowledge with others, resulting in positive impacts for many.” #BeThe10xImpact

I believe that CRISIL Foundation is doing a great job contributing towards the development of the society. The financial literacy and environmental conservation programs have had tremendous impact across the states and have won many accolades.

As an active volunteer for many years with CRISIL Re programs, what I like is that the Foundation has various activities for employees, who are not directly associated with the CSR team, to participate in short duration activities like, tree plantation, solar lamps distribution in villages, clean-up drives, and so on, and also learn about kitchen gardening and bird feeding. Employees taking part in such activities appreciate and feel the joy of their contribution towards the society.” 

It has been great learning experiences working as a CRISIL Re volunteer….   And sometimes when I drive through the roads of Gurugram, I often point out at certain places, and tell my fellow passengers that I once worked with a community in that area, or the trees that you see over there have been planted by me.

I take great pride in being a part of the CRISIL Foundation, which works tirelessly towards empowering underprivileged communities and promoting sustainable practices. Their dedication to strengthening financial capabilities and preserving the environment through green initiatives is truly commendable. I sincerely wish the Foundation continued success in their endeavors, and I look forward to contributing my part in shaping a brighter future alongside them. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and create a world that benefits all.
