Sakhi (Bhella village, Barpeta)
Be it the financial literacy workshops under Mein Pragati, or the mobile-based training under the GramShakti Programme, I am truly grateful for all the opportunities I have received. I now feel so proud to be certified by Crisil.
This has helped me become more confident as a woman, and I would like to encourage my fellow community members to also be a part of this enriching program.
Sakhi (Tukura village, Goalpara)
I hail from a community where financial decisions have been taken by the men of the house. Being a woman, meant running the house and kitchen.
Being a Sakhi of the village, I have now broken that stereotype. Men folk of the village come to me when they require some help in the bank.
The GramShakti certificate from Crisil will help me achieve financial independence – for myself and even for my community.
Sakhi (Kothalkuchi village, Nalbari)
The GramShakti Certification course has helped me understand various bank procedures, ATM facility, loans, savings etc. and highlights the importance of financial planning. The knowledge gained has helped me immensely when I deal with bankers and service providers.
I hope to educate more people in my community and help usher in a new change.
Sakhi (Boghdia village, Darrang)
Through the GramShakti App, I have developed understanding of various banking and government schemes, and more importantly, key concepts like investments, savings, and pension.
The training has empowered me to understand where and how to channelize my finances. As a Crisil certified Sakhi, I know will make this knowledge to complete use.
Sakhi (Dahalapara village, Chirang)
Borabazar is one among the most remote blocks of Assam. Initially people were hesitant to deposit money in banks and didn’t have any formal documents in place.
Through Mein Pragati earlier, and now with the GramShakti certificate, there is a golden opportunity for me to inform the public on various financial schemes and how important it is to save and invest.
