The course is a completely self-paced online learning programme with human voice over, clickable interactivities, animations, additional reading material and knowledge checks to assess users. The modules can be bookmarked to enable quick access in the future.

Topics covered include macroeconomics, Indian financial market and it’s participants, concepts of financial planning, tax planning, understanding asset classes and investment vehicles, analysing risk and return, mutual funds - key concepts and categories, overview of the mutual fund industry in India, insurance landscape and products and it’s taxation an claims, Crisil mutual fund ranking and ULIP ranking, portfolio monitoring and client reporting and fair business practices.

Access to the wealth management training modules will be provided through the NISM platform. Once you complete the purchase, you will receive an email within 48 hours with details to access the wealth management course. The credentials to access the course will be the same as those used for registration (email and password). You can see the Wealth manager course assigned under Your Courses, on the dashboard page. Click the assigned certification course in wealth and the course content page opens. Click the first module and begin the wealth management course.

All the modules within the course will require about 45 learning hours. They can be bookmarked to enable quick access in future.

Course content is frequently updated to incorporate any new concept or change in industry practice or regulation. In addition, analysis of key events, articles and expert videos relevant for a wealth manager are frequently added to keep you updated on emerging trends and best practices in the wealth management space.

The modules are only accessible online through the Crisil Online Learning Platform and cannot be downloaded.

The duration of a module ranges from 1 to 4 hours. However, study hours will vary for every individual. You need not complete a module at one go. Module content is auto-bookmarked and you may choose to pick up from where you left off the last time.

The exams are scheduled every quarter. The dates for the exam will be rolled out a month in advance and those wishing to take the exam have to make their payments at least 15 days before the exam date. The minimum study period for the course has to be one month – which means the gap between registration and exam period has to be one month. All the 18 course modules needs to be completed before registering for the exam.

The exam will have multiple choice questions (MCQs) and multiple response questions (MRQs). The exam will be conducted online as well as at physical centres. The online exam will be proctored online through your laptop/desktop webcam. The exam duration will be three hours.

The candidate will have to re-attempt the examination. The examination fee needs to be paid for every attempt.

Exams can be taken any time within the license period of the content as per pre-defined schedule. After the expiry of the license period, the candidate can re-register for the programme.
